What if the peace you've been searching for isn't found in changed circumstances but in a changed heart anchored to the presence of God? Every time I write to you, it would be remiss of me not to encourage you in the Lord. No matter what stands before you today, God will always be with you. Knowing this, I want to once again encourage you with Proverbs 3:5–6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." I don't write these words from a place of theory. I write them from experience. Loss, trials, sickness, diagnoses, chronic pain—I know what it is to walk through hardships that seem never-ending. Yet I also know the peace that has remained with me through every one of those circumstances, and His name is Jesus. That is why I continually invite you into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Not because life suddenly becomes easy, but because He can become your peace in the middle of it. There is no love that compares to His, and there will never be a greater security than knowing you belong to Him. The world cannot offer the kind of peace our souls long for, and it never will. At best, it gives us temporary moments of calm when circumstances happen to work in our favor. But the moment life shifts—a difficult diagnosis, news that cancer has returned, the loss of someone we love, or simply the weight of another unexpected trial—that peace quickly disappears. The peace Jesus gives is different. The kind of peace I'm extending isn't built on favorable circumstances. It is rooted in God's unchanging presence, and it is a peace found in the person of Jesus. I offer Him over and over because He is the true anchor of my soul, and He can be yours as well. You've tried everything else. Try Jesus. Not because He promises a life free from suffering, but because He promises that you will never suffer alone (Matt 28:20). Whether you realize it yet or not, there is a longing deep within your heart: a longing for something lasting, something unshakable. We search for answers, for relief, for anything that will finally satisfy the ache within us. But what your heart has truly been longing for all along is a Savior (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The world will continue to offer temporary peace that disappears with changing circumstances. Jesus offers Himself to you, and where He is, peace remains. With Love and Compassion Kamilia Watson
